Amazon Integration
Amazon Integration
NexWave's Amazon integration connects to Amazon Seller Central via the Selling Partner API (SP-API) to automatically import orders, items, and financial data into your NexWave instance.
Key Features
Automated Order Sync
Orders from Amazon Seller Central are automatically imported into NexWave as Sales Orders. Each synced order includes:
Customer details — Buyer information is auto-created as a Customer record, using the buyer's email or a generated identifier
Shipping addresses — Full shipping address with deduplication to avoid duplicate address records
Order items — Each line item with quantity, rate, description, and warehouse assignment
Fulfilment status — Supports all Amazon order statuses including Pending, Unshipped, PartiallyShipped, Shipped, and Cancelled
Fulfilment channel tracking — Distinguishes between Fulfilment by Amazon (FBA) and Seller-Fulfilled orders
Orders can be synced manually on demand or automatically on an hourly schedule.
Smart Item Management
When an order contains a product that does not yet exist in NexWave, the integration can automatically create it along with supporting records:
Items — Created from Amazon catalogue data with configurable field mapping (ASIN, SellerSKU, or Title)
Brands — Auto-created from the Amazon product brand
Manufacturers — Auto-created from the Amazon product manufacturer
Item Prices — Set in your configured price list
Item Groups — Created from the Amazon ProductGroup, nested under a configurable parent group
Ecommerce Item — A linking record that maps the NexWave item to the Amazon ASIN and SKU
Field mapping is fully configurable — you choose which Amazon field (ASIN, SellerSKU, or Title) is used to look up existing items in NexWave.
Financial Tracking
The integration imports Amazon's detailed financial event data to give you full visibility into marketplace fees and charges:
Charge types imported:
Shipping charges
Gift wrap charges
Service fees
Fee types imported:
Referral fees
Fulfilment fees (FBA)
Fixed closing fees
Variable closing fees
Fee accounts are automatically created under a configurable parent account group, and each fee type is mapped to its own account for granular financial reporting.
Multi-Marketplace Support
Connect to 20+ Amazon marketplaces across three global regions from a single NexWave instance:
Region | Marketplaces |
|---|---|
North America | United States, Canada, Mexico, Brazil |
Europe & Middle East | United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Netherlands, Sweden, Poland, Turkey, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, India |
Far East | Japan, Australia, Singapore |
Each marketplace connects through its regional SP-API endpoint with full OAuth 2.0 and AWS SigV4 authentication.
Flexible Sync Options
Manual sync — Trigger an immediate order import with a single click
Scheduled sync — Enable hourly automatic syncing for hands-off operation
Configurable date range — Set the starting date for order imports (within the last 30 days)
Retry logic — Configurable retry limit (1–5 attempts) with automatic disable on persistent failures to prevent error loops
Configurable Field Mapping
The Amazon Fields Map allows you to control how Amazon product data maps to NexWave item fields:
Amazon Field | Description |
|---|---|
ASIN | Amazon Standard Identification Number — unique product identifier |
SellerSKU | Your seller-assigned stock keeping unit |
Title | The product title from the Amazon catalogue |
One field must be designated as the primary lookup field for matching incoming products to existing NexWave items.
What Gets Created
When orders sync from Amazon, the following records are automatically created or updated in NexWave:
NexWave Record | Source | Details |
|---|---|---|
Sales Order | Amazon Order | Includes Amazon Order ID, marketplace tracking |
Customer | Buyer Email | Or generated as "Buyer - {OrderID}" |
Address | Shipping Info | With deduplication logic |
Item | Catalogue Data | When auto-creation is enabled |
Brand | Product Brand | From Amazon product attributes |
Manufacturer | Product Manufacturer | From Amazon product attributes |
Item Price | List Price | In configured price list |
Ecommerce Item | ASIN + SKU | Links NexWave item to Amazon product |
Fee Accounts | Fee Types | Under configured account group (when financial sync is enabled) |
Security
The integration uses Amazon's official SP-API authentication:
OAuth 2.0 access tokens via refresh token
AWS SigV4 request signing with temporary STS credentials
IAM role assumption for secure API access
Credentials are stored securely as password fields within NexWave
