Getting Started

Welcome to NexWave, the enterprise resource planning platform tailored for businesses in New Zealand, Australia and the United Kingdom. This guide is the on-ramp: a tour of the parts of NexWave you will use every day, from logging in to running your first report.

If you are brand new, work through the pages below in order. If you are coming back for a refresher, jump straight to the page you need.

What NexWave does

NexWave is a single, integrated system for running an organisation end to end:

  • Accounting and Finance: general ledger, AR, AP, banking, tax, multi-company.

  • Sales and CRM: leads, prospects, customers, quotations, sales orders, invoicing.

  • Purchasing: suppliers, RFQs, purchase orders, receipts, supplier invoicing.

  • Inventory: items, warehouses, stock movements, batches, serial numbers, valuation.

  • Manufacturing: BOMs, work orders, production planning, subcontracting.

  • HR and Payroll: employees, leave, attendance, recruitment, payroll runs.

  • Projects and Assets: projects, tasks, timesheets, fixed assets and depreciation.

Localised features include New Zealand and Australian GST, IRD and ATO compliance reporting, MTD for the UK, and bank-feed integrations with local providers via Akahu.

How to use this site

This documentation site is organised in two parallel ways:

  • User Guide: how to do something. Step-by-step task guides, organised by domain (Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, etc.). Start here when you have a job to do.

  • NexWave Modules: how a feature works. Reference material for each module covering doctypes, configurations, and the underlying mechanics. Start here when you need to understand or configure.

Use the search bar at the top of any page to jump straight to a topic. Search matches both titles and content.
