Recruitment Dashboard

The Recruitment Dashboard is the at-a-glance view HR managers and recruiters use to track the recruitment pipeline. It surfaces open Job Openings, active Job Applicants by stage, applications received over time, and a breakdown of source-of-hire so you can see where the pipeline is healthy and where it is thin.

It is a tile-and-chart dashboard, not a queryable report. For ad-hoc cross-tab analysis, use the Job Applicant list view directly with grouping and filters.

Where to find it

HR > Dashboard > Recruitment Dashboard, or click the Recruitment tile from the HR workspace.

Reading the numbers

  • A growing Active Job Applicants count with stable Open Job Openings = pipeline is filling up faster than roles are closing. Either roles are slow to close, or you have more candidates than capacity to interview.

  • A flat Applicants over time chart with high Open Job Openings = sourcing problem. The roles aren't generating interest. Revisit job descriptions or sourcing channels.

  • Source of Hire dominated by one channel = single-channel risk; diversify sourcing.

  • A spike in Applicants by status: Rejected in one week often signals a batch sourcing event (career fair, agency push) where most candidates didn't fit.

Common pitfalls

  • Tiles show 0 even though there is recruitment activity. Check the Company filter and that Job Applicants are linked to the right Job Opening.

  • Source of Hire is empty. The chart depends on the Source field on every Job Applicant. Make Source mandatory at the form level (Customise Form) so HR has to set it.

  • The Hired count differs from new Employee records. The dashboard counts applicants who reached Accepted status, not the resulting Employee records. Conversion to Employee is a separate step.

  • The dashboard does not show rejection reasons. For that, open the Job Applicant list and group by Status = Rejected, then look at the linked notes per record, or build a custom report.

  • Time-to-hire is missing for ongoing roles. The metric only computes for completed pipelines (Applicant moved to Accepted). In-flight roles don't contribute.
