# Recruitment Dashboard

The **Recruitment Dashboard** is the at-a-glance view HR managers and recruiters use to track the recruitment pipeline. It surfaces open Job Openings, active Job Applicants by stage, applications received over time, and a breakdown of source-of-hire so you can see where the pipeline is healthy and where it is thin.

It is a tile-and-chart dashboard, not a queryable report. For ad-hoc cross-tab analysis, use the Job Applicant list view directly with grouping and filters.

## Where to find it

**HR > Dashboard > Recruitment Dashboard**, or click the Recruitment tile from the HR workspace.

## Dashboard options

| Option | What it does |
|--------|--------------|
| **Company** *(if multi-company)* | Scopes the tiles to a single company. |
| **Date range** | The window for the trend charts (applications over time, time-to-hire). |
| **Tile click-through** | Click any number tile to drill into the underlying Job Opening or Job Applicant list, pre-filtered. |

## What the dashboard shows

| Tile / chart | What it shows |
|--------------|---------------|
| **Open Job Openings** | Count of Job Openings currently in *Open* status. |
| **Active Job Applicants** | Count of Job Applicants not yet rejected, hired, or withdrawn. |
| **Applicants by status** | Breakdown across *Open*, *Replied*, *Hold*, *Rejected*, *Accepted*. |
| **Applicants over time** | Trend chart of new applications received per period. |
| **Source of Hire** | Breakdown by where the applicant came from (LinkedIn, referral, agency, etc.). Only populated when the **Source** field is set on each Job Applicant. |
| **Job Openings by Department / Designation** | Where the open roles sit in the org. |

Click any tile to open the underlying list with the matching filter applied. From there you can chase individual applicants, update statuses, or progress them to interviews.

## Reading the numbers

* A growing **Active Job Applicants** count with stable **Open Job Openings** = pipeline is filling up faster than roles are closing. Either roles are slow to close, or you have more candidates than capacity to interview.
* A flat **Applicants over time** chart with high **Open Job Openings** = sourcing problem. The roles aren't generating interest. Revisit job descriptions or sourcing channels.
* **Source of Hire** dominated by one channel = single-channel risk; diversify sourcing.
* A spike in **Applicants by status: Rejected** in one week often signals a batch sourcing event (career fair, agency push) where most candidates didn't fit.

## Common pitfalls

* **Tiles show 0 even though there is recruitment activity.** Check the **Company** filter and that Job Applicants are linked to the right Job Opening.
* **Source of Hire is empty.** The chart depends on the **Source** field on every Job Applicant. Make Source mandatory at the form level (Customise Form) so HR has to set it.
* **The Hired count differs from new Employee records.** The dashboard counts *applicants* who reached *Accepted* status, not the resulting Employee records. Conversion to Employee is a separate step.
* **The dashboard does not show rejection reasons.** For that, open the Job Applicant list and group by **Status** = *Rejected*, then look at the linked notes per record, or build a custom report.
* **Time-to-hire is missing for ongoing roles.** The metric only computes for completed pipelines (Applicant moved to Accepted). In-flight roles don't contribute.
